Naqvi Lab Quantitative principles of gene regulation in development and disease

Chris grew up in China and developed strong interest in general biology questions since his childhood. He completed his B.S. in Biology and B.S. in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics in Peking University. Then he went to Cornell and completed his Ph.D. in Genetics in Tudorita Tumbar lab. He possesses a strong interest in research areas of cell fate, lineage decision, transcriptional regulation and epigenetic. As a postdoc in Naqvi lab, he hopes to combine quantitative TF perturbations, multi-omic profiling and computational tools to understand the principles of TF-mediated gene regulation and lineage decision. Outside of the research, he likes computer games and spending quality time with friends. He also tries to work out regularly.
